VAC update?

Hey guys,
anyone has some information on the new VAC update?

Detection status as far as I know:

Detected:
- x22 xRadar
- PGCheats
- Project-7 (lol as always)
- xmodus

Unsurely Detected:
- L1nky Hook (2 users banned, I think) //Time will tell if update is proof again

Proof:
- RoyalHack
- Organner
- Enhanced Aim
- x22 xInstantHook

Unknown:
- My cheat //My accounts are still unbanned and I used the hack 24/7.
- Artificial Aiming
- PrivateHax
- Project Monster

Seems like all Ring3 cheats are, at least a bit, detected (XP/Vista/Win7)?
Maybe the the time will tell who got a delay ban already as a Win7 user.

What hooking type and where (VMT / Detouring, D3D / Engine)?

x22 is proof(maybe Radar is detected, i just have Instanthook^^) oO. I'm using it the whole time(cuase my css crashes when rh is injecting:(). And if it had been detected, the whole x22 Forum would be full of flamers, but it isn't. I think L1nky is detected, reality used this Hack, JUST this hack and hes banned.

The moment i hear that some RELIABLE Pay2Cheat site's members are getting banned i might believe this VAC2-update thing. If Phoenix-Hacks or Linky Hook VIP's are getting banned, i dont see anything special about it. I just checked CRC32 and MD5 Hash of VAC2 module and it was same as always. It wont necessarily tell whole truth but...

Anyway, the guys in EA forum are right, there is only handful of trustworthy cheat-sellers and even if some kid managed to copypaste nice looking hack together, it wont necessarily tell whole truth and you will regret the day you bought it when public modulehiding stops working.

Yeah i have to admit that i really wondered that how is DisableThreadLibraryCalls related to hacks proofness. Not to mention that "fashion" seems to be copypasting all public modulehiding classes to one hack and thinking it makes hack more proof. But yeah, this "update" really seems just like some database update since module hash is still same as it has been for +1 year already.

This thread is no big fail, I just saw many users getting VAC banned by "private hacks" right after the COD6-VAC update. Maybe Valve didn't want to fail more than PB, so they changed some detection code? Can't imagine how VAC could get cheats that only like 10 users have.

As you already mentioned, they are "nearly" all the same. Maybe that's why they have different names?
And I never said that DisableThreadLibraryCalls does magic proofing; only thing it does is letting the DLL be not paged and less static in memory, so chances could get lower that a scan found it.

It's pretty known that the cheating szene is logging CRC hashes to check for updates. Might it be possible that they changed modules but took care on keeping the old hashes?

You do understand that when there is change in the module and file on the HD it's hash changes? I really want to see how Valve and their magic fairies prevent it from changing.

Those hacks which are for sure detected have always been detected. The only difference is that the ban happened earlier.

I can tell this story because I'm still not banned, and I'm using the same method for preventing VAC from banning me for about 1 year now.
