Steam Beta?

I heard you say, in a different post v3n0m4, that if you update to steam beta, some things may not work correctly...

Well i was wondering if steam beta changes some common offsets/address? Or is it relatively the same, just with some new features?

I am working on a project with someone and having two different versions of css could cause a problem if we are both getting different addresses, lol..

rifk, i spoke to campstaff whos doing the beta and he says cs 1.6 hacks dont work on it because the offsets are changed, idk if its teh samez for source
