Hmm... If you are just learning to code (true beginner), I would recommend learning VB first then C++.

VB is the closest language to English and makes the most sense for common people.

Then, when you know some of the basics of VB, you should go C++.

Learning C++ wouldnt get you anywhere. C++ just lets you understand and read scripts and functions. To learn game hacking, you need to know about (D3D)DirectX, download the Direct X sdk, Windows API, and a bunch of other stuff including detours etc.
