    RoyalHack BaseHook BUG

    Ok a little bug i found and i need some help to fix it
    The bug is in the Aimbot ..

    When i aim at enemy ( by hitting mouse1 ) hl2.exe Crashes , Sometimes it dont

    Aimbot works only on de_dust2 other maps -> Error ...
    help if u need cAimbot.cpp then reply.

      I didn't want to start a new thread... though it's not RH base, my hack crashes after killing an enemy, too.

      here's a screenshot of the VS2k3 disassembly window. I'm not so good at debugging, so I attached this. maybe some more skilled person can help me :smiley_1155:



      short edit: offsets are up2date, if someone would have asked for them
      edit2: it just crashes after killing a real player, not a bot. even if it's on a server.

                      Ah, here's your problem. If you read the line, it's attempting to add 10 hoes (represented by '10' and 'h') to your hack's esp. Disable the ESP and the hack won't crash.

                                  Why all the rage? I think he made funny joke. But im sick of seeing this thread going on, if i recall RH basehook needs only one thing fixed so it works without crashing and it's norecoil part. But i could be wrong since as venoma said he used static offsets and basehook is fucking old so things might have changed since i last looked at it. I dont seriously understand why you even bother with it anymore instead of just writing your own using new SDK.

                                    But yeah seriously, it takes 10 minutes to setup your own project with the newest SDK and 1 hour to write a fully working basehook with all needed functions hooked.

                                                I put it around almost every function that is related to aiming/recoil/spread because it's crashing after shooting a long time with no recoil/spread, not just when killing someone and no messagebox is appearing.

                                                maybe lawgiver could give me a hint where my crashing line is? he said he knows where..

                                                  When i was fixing some n33ps RH base for $$$ it was in the nospread code, i believe v3n used a static address for FOV, that wasnt right anymore.

                                                        Remove PE unlinking -> Fire up olly -> attach to hl2.exe -> inject -> Crash -> Olly pauses at some windows DLL probably -> Call stack -> go to your module -> Crash!


                                                        Or what i do often, place "_asm int 3" in front of your CreateMove and drawing hook and step through the code then it will crash at some call.

                                                        ( not crash with olly but throw a exception & pause )

                                                                            I wouldn't check it for beeing NULL because its ALWAYS NULL because its a function that is called ONCE so its always NULL when you call it.

                                                                            And i wouldnt use the same log strings that RH base uses.

                                                                              It has always hooked fine this way..

                                                                                          I followed every instruction Lawgiver and venoma gave me. I was in holidays 2 weeks so I couldn't work on.
                                                                                          And sorry for not removing the roundsays, me personally found it always humorous to rage servers with that though I'm not a myg0t member.
                                                                                          I've done everything..without I wouldn't post my dll to get some help, or would you?
                                                                                          I dont't want a complete solution either, just a hint where the error could be.

                                                                                            why dont you just try not hooking eg, createmove, or hudupdate, or remove your panels if thats where you are drawing and then figure out which function it is in at least where the crash is.

                                                                                                well seriously the crash caould be caused by the crosshair esp fov.... its calculated the fov for your crosshair and calc angles at the same time... crashing hl2... just a suggestion.. worked when i tried it ... so i hope i helped u in some way :D
