If you think he is good you need to look at major graphics forums :P Im shit and crypt is decent. Have a look at at gfx forums and there should be tutorials for begginers and other resources for getting started. Once you have followed a few tutorials merge them to create good gfx work. If you want to create crypt gfx then download all the brushes and styles and patterns you can. Play about with them and add in his words "special effects". xD there you go.3. can u plz teach me how to do good shit in ps? i have cs4.Comment

3. I wouldn't waste my time going to other graphics forums, all they do is basically waste their time on signatures. Don't get me wrong signatures are great and all but you don't see companies with professional signature makers. Therefore, I would work on banners, application interfaces, logos, advertisement images etc. Also web design is neat if you're into that stuff.
In learning how to make things look good just experiment with the tools you have, with the gui's I make the only thing that's custom is maybe a font or brush but that's it.
Also, simplicity is key -- don't go overboard with effects.
I'll be posting tutorials in the next few days.
