hello everyone, last night at 1.11 am in the morning my dad aged 54 died of cancer of the lung
:( i dont want your sympathy but i would like to just send out a casual reminder to any smokers out there!!!!!!! GIVE UP BEFORE ITS TOOO LATE, im a smoker myself and let me tell you, after watching my old man slowly struggle and pass away. do as i plan on doing, and quitting asap, he missed out on so much at passing at 54,he was ripped off and its fcking gay! i love u old man <3 RIP, save me a spot up there :)

I'm a smoker myself, mostly weed. I don't plan on quitting for a while, I'm enjoying my current lifestyle. I don't smoke alot though, only around once a month.

My grandma died of lung cancer and my mum is a heavy smoker.

Sad to hear stuff like this happens, but It's life, and life choices.

I stopped after 1 1 / 2 years after 8-10 cigarettes daily
I think that was the best decision because I`m only 17 years old

I pay 12,95 for 240 cigarettes ... a lot cheaper than buying packs @ the store or where ever you all buy it :D

I wish OP all the best but I know people witch grand parents are like 80-90 years old and still smoke a lot cigs a day! its kinda random! either you get cancer or you are lucky and dont get it

I buy tobacco and skins, a lot more for your money and a lot healthier, even though it's not healthy atall. xD

Ciggies have like 200 chemicals, roll-ups have tobacco and skins only. :P

the price over here in australia is around $ 15 aud for 25 smokes, the government taxes the shit out of it, and weed is around 200 - 300 per ounce.

i usually smoke at least 1/2 ounce of weed a week and a pack of smokes every 2 to 3 days, its been 10 years since i started smoking

so say

$100 on weed a week
(100x52) x 10 years = $ 52000

$40 on smokes a week
(40x52) x 10 yrs = $ 20800

$72800

thats alot of money, thou my maths may be wrong i have not slept in a day or 2
either way its an expensive deadly habbit and its fcked i dont have a dad to smoke bongs with anymore,
im a sad devil :(

About how much I smoke a day, bad habit really. I've been smoking going on 3 years now... 3 in February. I used to smoke about a quarter of weed a day, then down to a dime on the weekends until now, where I don't smoke at all. I love smoking weed, I'll never fully give it up. But, around here they piss test for drugs for jobs, so... Let's hope I get one instead of sitting here for 6 hours a day, wondering how stupid some of the people on this forum are...

@OP Sorry to hear your misfortune, my entire family smokes except both my grandma's. But they're both 80 and ex-smokers so I hope they make it longer... Again, sorry for your loss, try to take it easy. :)

I know exactly how u feel. After 2 siblings died from them i sorta vowed that i wouldn't touch em ever. Going to be 21 next year and still haven't touched even 1.

g-dad in his 70's

I was actually with my grandfather when he died in a hospice.
my aunt passed away last year and everyone in our family knew it was going to happen with the way she smoked and she was overweight.

chain smokers are the worst!!!
