    I got an i52500k 3.3 ghz in a HAF-932 case with a noctura d-14 cpu cooler,

I have benched tested it to 4.9 ghz without too much hassle, was pretty stable with no heat issues etc , but now for 24/7 use, im using easytune6 LOL, quick set to 4.10 ghz, no messing with voltages etc :)

lol at table fan blowing at cpu hehe, have you thort of ducting sum A/C into that bitch :P

what sort of cooler you getting? air or water cooled? if air, i have had no problems with my noctura d-14, thou u need the room, its fcking massive lol. takes a good chuck out of a haf 932 case which are enormous. :/

I OC from BIOS since software overclocking causes too much crashing and doesnt let you tweak anything else but frequency and ratio... at least the V-Turbo shit i tried long time ago.
I'm just getting pretty cheap basic aircooler, CoolerMaster Hyper TX3 that seemed to be pretty good quality/price at few reviews i read. I guarantee it's about 20 times better than this shitty Intel-stockfan. I'm getting like 45-50 temperatures even WITHOUT overclocking :/

I just overclocked my Radeon HD 3850 , got 11863 points @ 3dMark06 without GPU OC, now getting 12551. I expect to go over 13K when i get my new CPU cooler and can overclock my CPU to 4 GHz without it heating up like Hell :D

Remember to clock your ram and stuff to prevent bsod's

          Re: Intel i5 Overclocking

Finally update since I got the fucking new fan to work properly ( Intel-engineers who developed that mounting system are obviously high on cocaine all the time or something), at stock-clocks I get about 29 celsius idle-temp which I find pretty fucking low.
Now I decided to try overclocking again and ended up with 3.9 Ghz and Prime95 running stable for 3.5 hours.
I guess 4.x Ghz would be do'able but I'm pretty satisfied for this. My GFX card is what sucks ass ( 8800 GT )

CoolerMaster Hyper TX 3 + some random casefan i threw there for lulz :D

I used a small drop of ArcticSilver Ceramique to the center of the CPU before installing fan.

          BIOS configs:

          Stress test:

3D Mark Pro with all tests:

Now.... does anyone have any suggestions/improvements/feedback to make this better? Have I done anything wrong? What about RAM-timings, I have no clue about them.

          EDIT : Overclocked 8800 GT @ 650 / 1550 / 950

Blah, my 8800 GT can't handle even slighest overclocking without causing random "Display driver has crashed" errors. Gay.
