woo I like see people still buying AMD, but what do you think, will be amd as strong as intels are?
Why did you not buy i7 2700k? isn't it better? (I mean price is still good) http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_look...-6100+Six-Core

Why spend 88 euros for case? :x I've used same case since 1945 and it's perfectly fine.
That's a nice collection of hardware anyway.

EDIT: Is that Jimms or Multitronic? I've thought of buying that 550Ti at some point too.

Yeah , could've wasted that ~40€ maybe to better gpu, but however, that's all I need now.

It's from jimms, yes, but I've heard that someone got 550Ti for 140€ from my hometown, so.... :P maybe there are cheaper places too

Nice build. I would have went with a Corsair, Silverstone, or Seasonic power supply, and would have got one with much more power than needed since I tend to keep my PSUs through multiple builds. I used that case to build a friend's computer last year. It's a nice roomy case, and it should last a long time (pretty well built).

I don't build flashy cases for myself anymore. Here's the last flashy build I did for myself in December 2007:

It's debatable how much you should spend on a case. Unless you already have a quality case, it's worth investing in a good case as you can keep it through multiple builds along with your PSU.

It's too bad harddrives are up in price, you had to pay a bit much.

Wondering why your screenshot is hosted on Canadian Facebook if you're from Finland.

Yeah, the prices jumped from 49€ to 129€ in two months o.o

I read it was caused because of the floods in Taiwan/Thailand

I hope that my PC won't be that flashy lol :D it's pretty bad for eyes in the dark.... well, if it's dark, it won't be dark anymore :D

Yes, the warehouses were flooded destroying the world's supply of harddrives.

I know your fans have speed controls, but I don't think you can turn off the LEDs. I actually went overboard with the LEDs. I had two 120mm blue LED fans in the front of the case, another behind the hdd, one on the door, one on the back of the case, another on the CPU, and two 80mm on my graphics card. In total there were six 120mm and two 80mm blue LED fans, plus the 200mm on the top without LEDs - oh and the 120mm fan in the psu of course. So there were a total of 8 blue LED fans, and 2 regular fans. Needless to say it cooled really well and the lights were blinding in the dark.

The twelve hundred came out spring 2008 I think, so it wasn't yet available went I built my comp December 2007. So yes, it's the nine hundred, otherwise I probably would have splurged for the twelve hundred.
