Cs 1.6, updated will use steampipe. What this mean? The whoel game is cloud storage,you cant change config,model,userconfig nothnig. Non steam v42 left. We will miss the old counter-strike ;/

We who like 1.6 do care. It was the last decent Counter-Strike, new CSS is worse than CSS v34 and CSGO is just retarded.

Also: 1.6 still more played than CSS & CSGO

However I dont know what OP is talking of, I havent received such update and it sounds like a non-sense, only thing I've heard of is that 1.6 is ported to Linux now but I havent logged on to my Linux for a while.

Update is real, it just does not do any of those things OP said. Anyone can apply the update by participating to CS 1.6 Beta from Steam.
