No fix available yet on win update anyway (I mean their fix, not some "remove that update" shit which is possible for 20% of infected users o_o).

/windows updates still off, if i re-install my windows, i download/install all updates and then i turn this shit off.

Happend to me to, the 0xc000005 one. It was fixable for me tho, just had to find the update in list of installed updates and remove it.

Acctually that also happend to me :p. But its two ways to view them(that i know of) and only one of them worked O.o might be just me tho.
The difference was in sorting the control panel by small icons or categories. Only Small icons -> Programs and functions(my sys language is not english but something like that hehehe) -> Show installed updates on left bar would work.

might be helpful but im no expert :p

Despite NOT using PatchGuard, my PC was still fucked in the normal OS mode because the update failed to configure and install correctly.

0x00005 error when opening anything, couldn't find out the issue so ended up just doing a full reinstall.

Afterward the entire system was fucked beyond repair (could not boot into safemode or normal windows, or even patchguard.)

System Restore failed every time, required complete wipe and reinstall with a back up of my PC that was over 4 months old and a 50kbps external drive to copy over around 1tb...fucking hell.

yes it was not patchguards fault, mine just worked when launched without patchguard lol

Why ? Will fuck up your system, badly, some were luckier and had minor damages, for the others (me included), whole system were fucked, can't overwrite install had to format shit, basically it was even better than any available virus out there.

had to reinstall my lil brother pc this happened to him after update,
0xc0000005 at every non original(windows included) executable startup.
edit:
tho my pc was saved by patched kernel(who knows) since no bug & up-to date automatically (add patched kernel when a new comes out in rls patch-rar)
