Royalhack Portal, What you think?

Hey, I was talking with Unstuck yesterday about making him a portal page for royalhacks, He will be keeping the forums but only wants a portal page setup for him, All I need is to tell me what you think about this so far.

Don't worry about the link its only like that until I get it to a way Unstuck will like it, At the moment it is not finished I would like a banner made for it if anyone has the time to do so, I would like icons made as well for when you click buy it will show icon etc.

Please post here what you think about it, Would really appreciate some insight to it.

Thanks, Its still a work in progress need a banner from it and when you click buy I need icon image for it also.

Also the images for when you go on buy for rh vip access:

Allowed file types: JPG, GIF, PNG
Size of each file should not exceed 2048M
Size of all files should not exceed 2000M

Seems we don't have any professional graphic designers here anymore. But I really like the Royalhack logo with the crown. I think it would look good on the portal even without a background. Of course if there is still some graphics talent lurking around here, it would be great to see what they can come up with.

Good work on the portal, it will make the forum more inviting.

Depends what you can do with php coding, There is something that Unstuck wanted removing but I have no idea how since its built win with the mod, Think its editable but I don't know how, If you go there go to Hack Preview, He doesn't wan't all that shit on there he only wants like the video's and not.

the idea is good but that website looks a bit too fancy, like made by some 12 year old so it looks cool. no. it needs to be dark yes but SIMPLE ;)

just look at some of those screenies, OP you should learn to wipe off the traces from your code, I can see the links etc from the website source code, but however there are nothing about joomla or "Yoo PLanet" theme that you leeched. :/ fuck off leecher.

Self Coded? lulz. Makes only for extreme custom projects or little sites sense.

I agree, Joomla is the biggest shit I have ever seen but there are some great CMS which are great. Typo3, Drupal, Liferay (Java based but the best fucking CMS I have ever seen so far), Wordpress.. Or use Ruby on Rails with this you can code complete Web Applications very fast. Twitter uses RoR...

And about the Design: Sorry it looks really like shit and leaching is the worst you can do.

I have some Designs made in the last years which I have never used. Maybe I would give one away but I am to lazy to code it. Some are already in xHTML, some are just a PSD File. Oh and 100% selfmade nothing ripped of course. lol (No shit talk I showed them Unstuck already)

First of all I didn't say I made the template, The project was to simply get the portal to a standard so you can put video of the hack and the buy module working properly to how Unstuck knows, Also Unstuck knows I didn't make the template since I sent him a Link to the template simply to ask him if he wanted that template, He said yes.

There for the project is not fake, If no-one believes me you can Unstuck what the situation is, It is also Joomla based since you can have more features than you can on vbulletin and some modules on joomla you can't get for vbulletin, Believe is or not hanced aim is joomla based.

If anyone cares to make a template for the royalhack portal as joomla based be my guest and If unstuck likes it I will use it for the portal, If anyone has any better idea's then share them at the end of the time I am trying to help royalhack, So instead of you saying its fake and all this shit you do something for royalhack until then just opinions will do and not its fake all this shit.

Thanks MaareK for the idea but unfortunately unstuck want's a dark template he specificly said no white template, If you can find or make a dark template similar or know someone who can please share would be much appreciated, Cheers.

lolimsoasd I am no coder of templates etc at the end of the day this is a temporary portal as its a work in progress so it can be changed my main concern is the video/buy modules I need to get working properly, Also so you know this forum template unstuck uses isn't self coded so that you know, So you giving me digs about this your basicly giving unstuck digs also, If you can code a dark template for joomla then be my guest, Anything would be much appreciated.

I have given you many ideas. Have a look for Typo3, Drupal or Liferay. But without any php experience (or Java for Liferay) it could be very hard.

Thanks, The reason I haven't really done any more work to it is because I am learning how to make 1 without using anyone else templates so I am reading up on how to make them etc, Once I have read up learnt then I will have ago.

I like it but its to empty in the middle, If you wan't you can help me work on the portal, At the moment I've been given more work as well so I can only do bits and bobs wile learning things as well and I'm now doing a college course on webdesign, So if you would like to help me pm me.

It was a templatemonster flash template, so I dunno if Xeder know the songname or not

Have sum php engine made already, not for website presentation purpose but already have news & menu shits with lame administration pannel, using mysql and so on (dynamic website)

Will retrieve it in a few minutes & will edit it , will ask for some pictures later like header and shits

DO NOT WANT JOOMLA WEBSPELL NUKED SHIT OR ANY OTHER CMS LIEK THAT WHICH ARE FULL OF EXPLOITS !

Ok ile scratch this dup 1 :P i actually was gona get rid of joomla and use what they sugested and had some thing made o well thanks for letting me know :), I'le get rid of it now, Working on a radio site now :).

Btw unstuck the cafe accounts are being blocked, Cafe found out and is blocking them all, Mine got blocked and so did a few others I can't get hold of SpY to tell him, Thought would give you heads up anyway.
